FilmFreeway is a platform to submit films to festivals, but it also features music and songwriting registration. Using FilmFreeway, we can easily manage your submission and you can check on your status and pick the categories you want to compete to.

Payment is secure and the platform offers options you can choose from.

RULES

Only original works are eligible. No covers or adaptations of traditional or popular music.

The musical work can be with vocals or instrumental.

By submitting you admit that the piece of music is Original and you are solely responsible for any copyright/royalty violations that may arise from third parties. IIMA is not legally responsible for such disputes, and reserves the right to withdraw an award at any stage if the work is found to be an infringement of copyright/royalty.

By Submitting you also consent to IIMA using your tracks/bio/artist photo/video in its website, Social media, and for promotional purposes.

FOR TRACKS :
Each entry MUST come with :

– a title

– an artist / band name

– Music Composer details
– Lyrics details & lyrics

– at least ONE picture (artwork or artist headshot)

– an artist biography, at least 5 lines.

– country of origin.

– artist Social Media handles

FOR MUSIC VIDEOS :
Each Entry must come with:

– Cast details –
– Director of Photography/ Cinematographer –
– Editor

Music Composer(s)

– Lyricist(s)

– Concept Design

– Director

– Producer

We reserve the right to dismiss your submission if even one of the above essentials are missing..

You can submit multiple tracks & videos, but each will have to be submitted as a separate entry.

Sound quality : we accept studio, live, demos and even mobile phone scratch recordings, as long as the audio is clear and your music moves our jury.

Format : we prefer .mp3. If you send in other formats we may ask you to send the mp3 in addition for easiest sharing.

We accept all languages.

Non-english lyrics must come with a translation. This translation must be the closest to the meaning of the lyrics.

MONTHLY WINNERS:

All Winners shall receive a certificate and shall be eligible to receive a trophy*. They will be informed by email and tagged on Social Media.

Every April The International Independent Song Of the Year & The International Independent Music Video of the Year (Both Popular Choice & Jury Choice) will be announced.

*A unique trophy will be provided at an additional cost that shall be intimated from Time to Time which will also depend on the destination and shipping charges.
